Guided Museum Visits
We adapt our guiding and featured artefacts to match the Year age level.
Groups above 25 will need to be divided into two 45 minute visits.
Student charge $4.00 per head.
We Visit You
Outreach visits match the NSW Schools curriculum, eg Transport and Communication, Colonial days.
We present a PPT, then assist teachers in supervising students as they experience artefacts which put history in context, eg pre-electricity, wash day, plus teacher hand-outs.
Set fee of $50 plus $2 per child.
We recommend allowing 90 minutes for your visit in order to enjoy the extensive collection. Flexible hours/days offered for large groups.
Prefer to browse, just the standard entry fee applies.
Museum Guides
Volunteers love to share our stories. Someone is always around to answer questions. If you would like a personal tour for a small, non school group, a fee of $10.00 applies per group.
Around The Town
Too tired to get off the coach? Time limited? See our town guided by a local heritage volunteer. Extended to include the village of Nelligen if required. Includes handouts. A flat fee of $100 per hour applies. Please email in the first instance to arrange details.
